In my previous post, I mentioned that we have been working on our garden quite a bit these days. If you wish to read the previous post click here.
One major thing that we are doing is gardening and trying to grow some veggies. Why is it major for us is because both me and my husband have not been able to keep plants alive in the past (yikeees). Not even a succulent. But we are both determined to grow some plants and veggies this time.
We thought we would start with something simple. Nothing is simple for us when it comes to gardening. So we decided to grow some coriander and mint to test that we can take care of it. Off we went to collect some supplies to get our veggie garden started.
My husband is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to starting something and may be I am too lol. So we collected everything we could find to be a perfect gardener. Gloves, containers, potting mix, boots, gardening tools, plants, water hose, I mean everything.
May be in our head we were thinking, if in case we end up killing these little plants we can say 'we did our best ;D. It makes me laugh how differently similar we are.

So we put the potting mix in the raised garden bed and transferred our beautiful coriander and mint plants into it. We watered it a bit and high fived each other (something we do after finishing a project or a rugby game or when our baby gains weight lol).

It been three weeks since we planted the coriander and mint and it is perfectly healthy and growing really well. We have made mint and coriander chutney twice with our home grown plants. I will post the recipe for the chutney in the next blog post.
Not only that, we have gone a step further and added capsicum, lettuce and tomatoes to our garden too. Now, we are just taking care of it and waiting for it to grow. Will follow up on how it is coming along once the veggies start to grow.
