Tomorrow is the day when we start our trip to South Island New Zealand. I feel like I am already tired because of all the packing lol. It's like I want to take the whole house with me so the kids are comfortable. Not spoiling my kids just making sure they have a good time and make good memories.
It is also hard to pack because you need to be ready for all kind of weather in New Zealand. You can literally have sun, rain, wind and snow in one day. So you got be ready for anything. Which means you need to pack everything from shorts to jeans to puffer jacket for a trip. Now multiply it by 4 and add it couple of times as kids don't like to wear anything for too long.
Anyways, I am still super excited for our trip. Hoping to get some sun for the week we will be travelling. This post is not about crazy mommy packing I have done but about the basic things you would need if you are travelling to New Zealand in "summer".

1. Basic tees for hot days
2. Your favourite blouse
3. Shorts
4. Jeans
5. Overalls - my personal favourite
6. Denim Jacket
7. A short dress
8. A maxi dress
9. Jumper, just in case
10. Jacket, just in case
11. Sunscreen, very important. Sun could be really harsh here, so better to have sunscreen on.
12. Sun Hat
13. Sunglasses
14. Underwear, because you know...
15. Swim wear, water is everywhere you go in New Zealand
16. Jandals or Flip Flops
17. Pair of shoes or boots
These are the few basic things you would need along with the other 100 things you need to travel. We will be on our ferry tomorrow at this time and I can't wait. Bring on the holidays...
