Happy New Year everyone! This is my first blog post for 2017 and let's hope I can keep up with the things happening in my life right now.

Anyways this post is dedicated to our trip to South Island New Zealand. And let me start by saying if you haven't been to South Island yet make sure you visit it at least once in your lifetime. It is Bee-u-t-ful.

Our whole family, that is six adults one toddler and one baby left for our trip on 23rd Dec 2016. It was an eight day trip including three night camping. And oh boy we drove like crazy to get from one place to the other. We did more than 4000 kms in eight days. Yes  it's 4000 kms.

As we live on North Island we took a ferry from Wellington to Picton so we could transport our cars too. It takes around 3  hours to get to Picton. The ferry was pretty amazing with all the facilities onboard.

We started our journey from Picton to Cromwel. We stopped at a small town called Frans Joseph. I shouldn't say a small town as it had everything. It was really cute with all sorts of food joints and small shops. The place we stayed there was not what I expected according to its reviews, so I will not mention the name. However, it looked really artsy from outside.

We camped at Cromwel for three day and it was amazing. We booked our campsite at the Top 10 holiday parks and I would highly recommend it. They have superb facilities and awesome camping grounds.

I will upload another blog post about our camping and things we did in Queenstown. Tell then have a lovely time and see you soon...
